Thank you to everyone who has made contact with the Grange Park Centre group in the run-up to the meeting on 13 December 2017. We had already considered and begun to plan for many of the concerns that have been raised, but it is useful to understand which are the highest priorities for residents, and to ensure we have covered all aspects.
The complete set of questions and answers can be viewed here.
Please email firstname.lastname@example.org if you would like any further information.
Grange Park Centre meeting, Main Hall, Outwoods Edge Primary School
The next Grange Park Centre meeting is 20:15-21:00 on Wednesday, 13 December in the Main Hall, Outwoods Edge Primary School.
Please forward your questions to us by Sunday, 10 December. Knowing your questions in advance will give us the opportunity to answer them as fully as possible. If you are unable to attend the meeting, we will also publish details on the Grange Park Centre website a few days after the meeting.
The planning application details for the proposed Grange Park Centre (P/17/2344/2) are available to view on the Charnwood Planning Portal. Comments can be made on the portal up until 20 December 2017. Following on from feedback from residents, we have put together a Project Overview which we hope gives you more of a flavour of the project.
Last week we received official confirmation that we have been awarded a Community Facilities Grant towards the cost of the new community centre building. The grant is subject to a number of criteria, including other funding and documents which we will need to provide. It’s a real boost of support for the project!
Agenda – GPC meeting:
20:20 Workshop discussion about the concerns raised
20:50 Summary and next steps
21:00 Meeting closes
This is your opportunity to contribute and get involved as we continue to consider how the centre will operate. The centre will be a resource for the whole community to enjoy, so it’s important for us to work on the final stages together. We look forward to seeing you at the meeting and continuing conversations with you.
